He is your hero? Really.

People break up.  Relationships fail. High school romances wither in summer and are frozen with despair in winter. "Adults" divorce. Flaming comment number one: Jesus Christ is not in the center of a failed marriage. If Christ was the center of the people's world, divorce wouldn't happen.
What happens when young folks break up? Whatdaya say?
"I need my space." Prior to 2003, that meant a physical separation and the relationship is over. 2006, if you don't have your space, you don't have a relationship. See where I'm going?  No? I'll spell it out.
I have a myspace account. I hope to share Christ and His Word with as many as I can. Great tool if used correctly.
Let me preface this next statement with the following disclaimer: Anytime a Christian in word or deed does something or allows comments to be made that doesn't sit well with pious, self-righteous "Christians" the former Christian is deemed a heretic...So be it.
Now Flaming Comment number 2: Mean spirited people, those with demons and or corkscrews implanted in their psyche, should not use what is meant for good for their own evil. As a parent, I am sickened that so many children are falling victim to this evil seed.
Myspace profiles should NOT say my hero is Jesus if you are talking to a minor or even an 18 year old calling her a hottie.
"Hey, CyberBill, put the twinkie down, take a shower, get out of the basement, and don't use My Jesus as a tool so you can devour a child's innocence! Find your delete button and use it! "
What? Lawsuit? What I said was slander? Psst. It's only liable if it isn't true.

Funny thing we call life. When we are touched by the wrenching claws of death, the majority of us are guilty of thinking and wondering, Why does that drug addict, that abusive loser, and or that non-believer continue to live while innocent children and other victims are transformed from living and breathing creatures to statistics or forgotten memories?"

Admit it. You have wondered. As have I. Perhaps it is in our make-up. How do we justify worshipping a god that allows planes to crash into buildings killing thousands? How do we justify singing praise to a god that sits silently as children die on the streets, or in a hospital due to some yet un-curable medical enigma?  If you are asking these questions, here is the answer. Take note that it is not my answer, but His.

Psalm 139:6 Such knowledge is a wonder greater than my powers; it is so high that I may not come near it.

We are not supposed to know. Sorry if it infuriates you even more, dear readers, but think back even to the beginning. God said not to eat from a certain tree that held knowledge. We are not meant to know all the answers. If we did, wouldnt that make us God?

We take it our hard times with the good on faith. Honestly, if you are a Christian, you know that He makes the rain fall on the just and unjust. There is a scripture that I cannot place now, but it is from The old Testament. God says that He would show mercy on those he would show mercy too.

So now you ask, what has an innocent child done to tick God off if said child doesnt receive mercy.  The answer came from Christ when asked about a lame man. Christ was asked what sin had the man committed or what sin his parents committed to leave him in such a shape. Christ answered (This is a paraphrase by the way) No one sinned. The man was the way he was so that Gods Glory would be made known.

So how does an innocents death, pain or suffering glorify God? Ask Jesus.

Draw the line

Battle lines are drawn. No, it is not democrat vs republicans, It's Chris vs. satan. Now we know He has won. His death and ressurection was victory, but don't think for a moment that Satan is not trying to get you down. satan loves it if he can make us question Christ.

Are you a Christian?
Do you sing sin?

The line is drawn. Every act, your every thought will come back on you. If you believe that, then your actions would reflect a faith, a trust, a love of Christ. I'm not judging, just simply stating facts.

In the name of who?

Have you ever heard of the Westboro Baptist Church of Topeka Kansas?
This link will give you all the facts about these people, this cult of satan's fart stains.
First, they are not Baptist. AND are not a church. They have two websites
that I'm not giving dignity to here.
Horrible people. They rejoice over Katrina's destruction of New Orleans.
They rejoice when USA soldiers are killed. They rejoice over 9-11.  As a Christian, if you look at these sites to learn more of the devil and his ilk, pray Christ calms you, because as His child, you will be angered to the point of nausea.
It's time Christians take a stand on this ignorance.

For those of you Anti Christ Losers United folks, I'm simply using my first amendment right to free speech. I know you are too. But just 'cause you have the ability to speak doesn't mean you should. God bless.

Our world is a paradoxical enigma. On one side we have religious groups and I use that term loosely that are upset that their god is portrayed as a terrorist. What do they do to show that description, that mantle is wrong? They blow stuff up and react in violence. Hmm.

Hollywood celebrates the movies in March. So kiddos, let's celebrate, trans-sex-woe men or bareback riding cowboys, or an eccentric, homosexual writer that glorified the murders of an innocent family this year. This is the best Holloywood can put out?

Oh but it's okay. Balderdash. Hogwash. I'm not capable of being tolerant. God's Word speaks against homosexuality. Remember a place called Sodom. No? 'Course not because it is not there anymore!

My point is this: If you are a Christian, washed by His blood, you will not and cannot tolerate anything that is against Him. Sure not one of us is righteous. We are all ainners, but once that blood cleanses you and you are His, conviction will lead you away from that which is against Christ's kingdom.

Will stand for His kingdom or fell to you knees with Satan's sin?

Just remember the families of the miners. I pray that God's Grace touches them now more than ever.

Saturday, December 17, 2005

The day began normal as most days do; however as it continue, this day would become truly unique.

My sister decided to take a party of 11 to the Science Museum. So we went. I road the Bluemax thing with my oldest. It is a flight simulator that flips uou around, upside down and every which way but loose. Listen up.

Fatboys like myself need to keep the feet on the ground. Then came the LAZER Holiday lazer show. Nice production as far as keeping the holiday spirit alive with one Christ centered song save Silent Night. The lazers made me sick physically. Vomit anyone?

After the science exploration, we decided to go eat before the ice show at the Gaslight Theater. Figure this equation.

 2 vehicles
+Nashville Traffic

Right. Lost. But hey, we had walkie talkies. After we get to an eating establishment, we decide we don't want to eat there. Before we can pull out of the parking lot, a woman approaches. She needs bus fare.
Since none of us are walking ATMs, we burn rubber  tearing out of the parking lot. No, not really, but we did leave.

The scene: Briley Parkway

We intergate ourselves with Nashville traffic on our way to the Gaslight. Three years later we are near exit 11, our exit to Opry Mills, home of the Everything! Then that old familiar dread is heard.

Thud Thud Thud....

That's right. The driver's side tire has gone flatter than a Macy's ballon on the day after Thanksgiving. So we pull off to a decent ramp. After much effort, the spare was placed and our adventure continued.

After we finally found the Gaslight, we found that everyone in Nashville had decided to watch it. So we skip it. Instead, our children decide to eat at the most expensive place in Opry Mills, The Aquarium.

Since we had to wait near 2 hours to be seated, the kids played with the caged manta rays.
We finally got home at 1:30 AM Sunday.

1 Thessalonians 5:17-18

Pray constantly. Give thanks in everything, for this is God's will for you
in Christ Jesus.

We are to be thankful for all things? Come again. How's that working? It is
impossible you may say. Yet, God's Word, says, "All things are possible."
This is the holiday season so let us dispense the mirth on the masses.

Seriously, give thanks.Yes.

Q: How can I be happy and thankful if I'm a child in the middle of divorced
parents' bickering over where I spend my holiday or a custody battle?
A: Flip it. At least you have parents that are bickering over you if it's
done totally out of love. We have some parents that bicker to hurt the
other, but that's because they give Satan a foothold.  Pray constantly that
they feel God's hand and Grace. Be thankful that you have anyone because
some have no one.

Q: I have been abused. My parents suck. Do I have to be thankful for the

A: Any parent who abuses a child in my opinion, and this by the way does
not come from God, but from Tinin, should have their parental right(s)
taken away.  Ken Freeman wrote a book called Rescued By The Cross. In it he
talks about how he was abused by his mom's infinite number of boyfriends.
He talked about the hate. He talked about the aggression he felt, but also
the forgiven he gave them after he learned of Christ and received
salvation. One of the ten originals was to respect the parents. This is
where many get upset. I'm truly sorry if you have been a victim. We
Christians cannot pick which to follow and which not to acknowledge. Christ
heals all. The gospel of Luke and in other places says to pray for our
enemies. Christ died for you as He did the one who hurt you. Be thankful
that you have a Savior that can and will take the [ain and wipe the tears

Q: Do you believe all this.

A: Absolutely.
