A Christian's Home

Journey. Not the band. We all are on this journey
called life. We trek through it until the end. Where will the final
destination be?
Many churches use those little pamphlets called Bible tracks that in
theory lead the lost to Christ. Don’t get me wrong, they do work.
However, it is neither you nor I that truly lead a person to Christ. He
was there knocking on the person’s heart…waiting. Anyway, these tracks
are very useful in walking a person through specific scriptures that
shows the audience God The Father, God The Son and God, The Holy Ghost:
If you are here and feel in your heart that something is missing, the only, real, true, peace in this decaying world, please continue reading.
Every person will spend eternity in either Heaven or Hell. God has provided a way for us to spend eternity with Him. This is how to receive Christ and spend eternity with him.
Know about God
GOD CREATED: “In the beginning, God created the Heavens and the Earth.”
Genesis 1:1
GOD LOVED: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
John 3:16
GOD PROVIDED: “I go to prepare a place for you…I will come again to receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”
John 14:2-3
Understand what you know.
God is sinless: “Him who knew no sin he made
[to be] sin on our behalf; that we might become the righteousness of
God in him.” (The Lord God Almighty gave Christ to us to achieve the
gift we could not and cannot receive on our own.)
II Corinthians 5:21
Man is sinful: “For all have sinned and fall short of The Glory of God.”
Romans 3:23
God is forgiving: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
I John 1:9
Believe what you understand.
Jesus is The Way: Jesus said, “I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life: no one comes to the Father, but through me.”
Man is in need: “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus, our Lord.”
Romans 6:23
Faith is the key: “He who believes in The Son has eternal life.”
John 3:36
Christ was crucified between two thieves. The
first thief mocked him saying, “If you are God, then save yourself and
us.” The second thief defended Christ by asking the first, “Do you not
fear God?” He went on to inform the first thief that they were being
justly punished, but Christ had done no wrong. The second thief asks
Christ to remember him in the kingdom. Christ replied, “Today, you will be with me in paradise.”
Receive what you believe
Receive Christ: “But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, [even] to them that believe on his name.”
We
receive Christ by Faith Through Prayer: “If you confess with your mouth
Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the
dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9
The Sinner’s Prayer
Dear
God, I know that I have sinned, but I believe Jesus Christ died on the
cross to forgive me. I receive Christ as THE ONLY WAY to salvation. I
am willing to turn from my sin. Please forgive me of my sin and give me
eternal life. In Christ’s holy name, Amen.”
Does
this prayer express the desires of your heart? If it does, pray the
prayer now. Christ will enter your heart with eternal life.
Despite what others say, NO ONE can take eternal life away from you once Christ has entered your life.
“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them and they follow me. I give eternal life to them, and they shall never perish; and no one shall snatch them out of My hands.” John 10:27-28
